Summer in Boston and Cape Cod

This summer, I made a short trip to Boston and Cape Cod with my mom.  It was a nice little break from work and we had very nice weather to go along with it.  We stayed right by Copley Square.  On our first day, we walked along the Public Garden, through Boston Common, along the Freedom Trail and visited some of the historic sites.

Here's the Freedom Trail marked by red brick:

 And the famous Quincy Market:

Over the next couple of days, we also visited the Harvard and MIT campuses over in Cambridge.

And admired the interior of the Boston Public Library:

Of course, we had lots of yummy food as well.  Here are a few worthy of mention:
We had a wonderful omakase meal at Sushi Cafe in Cambridge.  I guess it was the around the same time when we went to have dinner at Yasu.  The fish that were served were very similar.

Had a nice breakfast at Thinking Cup.

And Flour Bakery.

Ended with a really nice seafood dinner at B&G Oysters.

We spent about a day and a half in Cape Cod which was about 1.5 hrs drive from Boston.  There were tons of nice beaches and lighthouses.

We had a great meal at a casual little place called The Canteen in Provincetown.
