Guu Sakabar, a great place to eat, drink and blow off some steam!

Finally got a chance to go to the new Guu Sakabar on Bloor St. West last Friday.  This is a perfect place to be after a long day of work and you can be as loud and rowdy as you want.  This new location has a tatami section as well as the regular table and bar seating areas.  There were only two of us, so we sat by the bar, but the tatami section would be great for bigger groups and probably not as noisy as the bar area if you are afraid of the noise.
I find that Guu tends to have pretty fresh sashimi.  The uni is typically fresher than most places in Toronto, but of course, you're not going to find the sweetness in the uni that you would get from Hokkaido uni.  We tried the takowasabi, uni, negi toro and beef carpaccio.
For cooked food, we got the gindara, oshi zushi (pressed sushi Kansai-style),  and deep fried brie: yum yum!

For all the ladies out there, they have wonderful cocktails made with sake like the limojito.
